We first discovered La Vasconia several years ago and have been regular visitors ever since.
The house is in Bougival, a short walk from the station so very convenient for trips to the city centre and to Versailles.
The rooms are immaculately clean and very comfortable while Jean-Pierre's attention to detail ensures that you always have everything you need.
Breakfast, which is included in the price, is excellent with fresh, home made pastries every day.
I recommend La Vasconia very highly.

La Vasconia

We stayed at La Vasconia because we wanted to combine a trip into Paris and a day at Versailles. The house is a lovely elegant Parisian building surrounded by a leafy garden. The room was prettily decorated with a good modern and clean bathroom. Jean Pierre was very attentive and made a delicious breakfast which included a different home made pastry each day. He was very helpful with local information and recommendations for restaurants and the train into Paris was only 10 minutes walk away. We had a lovely stay and would certainly go back when visiting Paris and would recommend a stay here.

Dear Jean Pierre and Marie Dominique,

We are sorry not to have had the chance to contact you sooner but we just wanted to write to say how much we enjoyed our stay in Bougival and to thank you for your hospitality. Everything was delightful - the beautiful room, your lovely house and garden and the delicious breakfasts. It was so nice, after a day of sightseeing in Paris, to be able to return to the peace and quiet of your house - and it was so easy to get into the city on the train. We really enjoyed our visit to Monet's house and garden, which are so beautiful, and we then had a lovely few days with our friends in the Loire Valley.

Thank you once again and we look forward to being able to stay with you when we next visit Paris.

We really enjoyed our stay with you. The accommodation was lovely (the best I had ever stayed in) and Your home cooking was wonderful. LOVELY JUBBLY Do you have a recipe for the cake you gave us on the last day, the one with the fruit on the bottom? (raspberries I think) Delicious.

In today's world of hyper travel and rushing about, our recent visit to your Bed and Breakfast was a pleasant and relaxing experience. You and your family were gracious and kind and made our stay not only easy going but also informative. Your rooms are beautiful and super clean and very luxurious. The bathrooms were spotless, a real bonus to my wife who appreciates cleanliness. The breakfast was wonderful and delicious (great coffee).

Your help in giving us directions was really appreciated and a big help, even though we were amateur drivers,
when driving around Paris.
